With Democrats holding power in Congress and the White House, they are trying desperately to get everything they want passed. They even go to extreme lengths to fib about their policies and scare us into believing them (yes, yes, all politicians use scare tactics. I know.), as evidenced by this quote from House Majority Leader Nancy Pelosi.
"Every week we don't pass a Stimulus package, 500 million Americans lose their jobs.''
Maybe those extra people live in the 60 states that Obama thought were in the country.
